The Artist of Masks Wanderhome Playbook
A downloadable playbook
Most kith here are fundamentally good, but your masks can tell a cautionary tale of those who are not. Hide your features and tell your truth.
You are alive. Your care is tangible, reflective, and able to be seen through a crowd.
This is dedicated to the faculty at Accademia dell’Arte and the family Patrick found there.
The Artist of Masks Playbook draws directly from Commedia dell’Arte, a theatre form developed in Italy that utilizes masks. This form takes a range of flexible stock characters and emphasizes their physicality through broad gestures and distinct masks. In telling a story, all the audience members are able to connect with a figure on stage and easily follow the plot, transcending language barriers through the actor’s expressive motions.

This is super cool! I especially liked the big custom picklist, both the larger-than-life options for masks, and the question itself that you answer. The way it's about which masks you'll lend out and which you don't makes me think of collaboration in general, and how much say you allow others in your vision. Where are you willing to adapt and where do you need things to be a certain way?
Thank you so much!!! I'm really happy you found some of the tension there. If you end up playing the playbook in a game, please let me know!!
